The morning of august 20th 2011, Logan's immediate family and mine met for the first time. We went to breakfast and then rehearsal.
It was so exciting see what we had planned for months finally come together!
My mom and I went to get my makeup done, they didn't have me scheduled which was a shock to me when I had scheduled a month in advance and called three days ahead of time to confirm, but they worked me in and it turned out great. If that was the only thing that would go wrong all day I was okay with it. Then we went back to the Rosanders home (where the wedding and reception would take place), my sister amber did my hair and that turned out gorgeous. My best friend Sarah came over and with the help of my mom we put on my dress, wow I couldn't believe it. I was getting married to the man of my dreams!
Our wedding colors were pink and orange. The wedding was outside and it was breath taking!! We had beautiful flower centerpieces And candles. The entrance was lined with flower vases and strings of lights. The trees were lighted up with lights and had flags with our initials. We had pictures of us at the entrance.
The isle was covered in roses that spelt out L and K. My new nieces were our flower girls and my oldest nephew was our ring bearer. My mom walked me down the isle. My mom has been my everything my whole life. She is such a inspiration to me, and of course she would be the one I wanted to give me to Logan. As I walked down the isle I looked at my soon to be husband staring at me. That moment was so special, the feelings were so strong and I will never forget it. My cute husband had tears rolling down his cheeks and of course I did too. Uncle Steve married us and he did a great job.
We started taking pictures and then a storm came out of know where. It started getting really windy, then it started raining and then pouring and then hailing, I couldn't believe it. This was my wedding day! It was suppose to be perfect, our decorations and linens were completely soaked. It seemed like a hurricane was coming. My kind neighbors all offered their driers to dry our linens for the reception. We all had to go inside, but about 15 minutes before the reception it all of a sudden stopped, the sun came back out and it was the perfect temperature. Everyone went outside and helped put everything back together. Everyone was so selfless that day, they all worked so hard to make our day perfect and it was.
Our cake was white shimmer and topped with fresh flowers. We had red velvet and chocolate cake. For our guests We had pasta salad, pulled pork sandwiches, fresh fruit, cupcakes, and lemonade.
We had tons of people show up to our reception. We had a formal line, we tossed the bouquet, took pictures, and had our first dance. The song we chose was "when I said I do"
These times are troubled and these times are goodAnd they're always gonna be, they rise and they fallWe take 'em all the way that we shouldTogether you and me forsaking them allDeep in the night and by the light of dayIt always looks the same, true love always doesAnd here by your side, or a million miles awayNothin's ever gonna change the way that I feel,The way it is, is the way that it was
When I said I do, I meant that I will 'til the end of all timeBe faithful and true devoted to youThat's what I had in mind when I said I do
Well this old world keeps changing', and the world stays the same
For all who came before, and it goes hand and hand
Only you and I can undo all that we becameThat makes us so much more, than a woman and a manAnd after everything that comes and goes aroundHas only passed us by, here alone in our dreamsI know there's a lonely heart in every lost and foundBut forever you and I will be the onesWho found out what forever means
When I said I do
Copied from MetroLyrics.com Then as we left on our first night together as husband And wife everyone gathered together in a line and threw rose petals.
